Stephen Ministry is a system through which members of Settle Memorial United Methodist are trained and organized to help provide Christian care giving to members of our congregation and community. This will multiply the amount of caring ministry Settle Memorial can provide by giving us a whole team of skilled caregivers who are equipped to bring Christ's healing love to people who are grieving, in crisis, or experiencing other stresses in life.

As a Stephen Church, Settle Memorial is part of a big network. There are thousands of Stephen Ministry congregations representing more than 90 Christian denominations across the U.S., Canada and the world. The Stephen Ministry headquarters is based in St. Louis, Missouri, and can connect our Stephen Leaders with Stephen Ministry congregations virtually everywhere in the country. So, if you have a relative or friend far away who is in need of care, talk to our Stephen Leaders. They may be able to connect your friend to a Stephen Ministry congregation in his or her own neighborhood.
