CHILDREN'S MUSIC
CHERUB CHOIR is for children ages three years through Kindergarten. The Cherubs enjoy learning about the Bible and exploring their faith through lots of singing, music, and musical games. They meet together during the Sunday School hour and again during the Wednesday night program time for kids. The Cherub Choir sings regularly in Sunday morning worship services. SETTLE'S ANGELIC MUSICIANS is for children in grades 1-5. The S.A.M. Choir rehearses on Wednesday nights during the children's program time. In addition to singing a wide variety of age-appropriate anthems and songs, they also learn to play basic percussion instruments and have access to three octaves of handchimes. S.A.M. performs regularly as a part of morning worship, they stage at least one musical drama every year, and they ride atop Settle's float in the annual Christmas Parade. INJoy BELLS is for children grades 1-3. These youngsters rehearse on the first and third Sundays during the school year. They use the "Krystal Bell" method -- a color-coded introduction to handbell ringing that requires no reading and ensures immediate success and satisfaction

YOUTH MUSIC

SOLI DEO SINGERS  is open to all youth, grades 6-12. This high-energy ensemble performs a variety of vocal music, blending contemporary and traditional styles. They routinely add instrumentation to their choral sound, using the rainbow of talent within the youth group. Not only does the Youth Choir perform during Sunday morning services, but also vocal and instrumental soloists from the group frequently bring a moment of music ministry to these worship celebrations. Currently, Soli Deo rehearses on Sunday afternoons during the school year.

ENTHEOS RINGERS, our youth handbell ensemble, is also open to all youth.  They frequently ring as a part of morning worship or combine with other groups for special musical presentations.  They rehearse on Sunday afternoons during the school year.

MIRIAM'S DAUGHTERS is a liturgical dance ensemble comprised of young women, many of whom currently study dance.  They prepare both solo and group numbers, choreographing much of the dance themselves.  Their rehearsal schedule varies as they prepare new material to share in worship services.

ADULT MUSIC
SANCTUARY CHOIR is open to all adults and youth. The Sanctuary Choir performs weekly during the Sunday morning services and provides special music throughout the year. Of special significance are the annual Christmas and Lenten cantatas, combining the choir with a variety of instrumentalists and dramatists. The choir is also often asked to participate in special District and Conference events of the United Methodist Church in Kentucky. The Sanctuary Choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings after the weekly program hour. SERENDIPITY HANDBELL CHOIR is open to all adults. Building on over 25 years of experience, this ensemble continues its tradition of excellence in English Handbell ringing. They perform regularly in worship as a solo choir and as accompanists for soloists and choirs alike.  The Serendipity bells rehearse on Sunday evenings.

THE JOURNEYMEN AND WOMEN'S ENSEMBLES are open to men and women of all ages. They perform unison, two, three and four-part music, both accompanied and a cappella. They enjoy a rich fellowship and prayer life together in addition to their musical harmonies. They regularly bring music to Sunday morning and evening services, and they frequently receive invitations to sing for functions outside the church. Consult the church calendar for rehearsal dates and times.
Solo Music Members and guests of Settle memorial frequently join our Sunday services as guest artists, bringing their special music ministry. Solo vocalists, choral groups, keyboardists, guitar and other instrumentalists and ensembles add much to our worship each week. If you have a special music ministry to share, speak with the Minister of Music about your desire to participate.
SANCTUARY ORCHESTRA is a multi-generational ensemble open to musicians of all ability levels.  This group meets seasonally as we prepare for Christmas and Lenten/Easter specials.  This group has also performed for other special events and the Kentucky Annual Conference meeting.  Speak with the minister of Music about your desire to participate.

God's Troubadours is dulcimer-centered instrumental group whose primary purpose is to "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord" Psalm 100. They play music for our homebound friends. This group is open to anyone who plays the dulcimer, banjo, violin, cello, hammered dulcimer, guitar, recorder, harmonica--you name it! They also encourage beginners to join.
